Jamiat-Un-Noor is a boarding school for women only. It is an autonomous institute run by a registered trust under the name and style “Al-Noor Women’s Educational Trust”. Jamiat-Un Noor is recognised by the state Govt. of J&K and affiliated with the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE). Presently the classes that are taught here are 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th with the syllabus as approved by JKBOSE and the examinations are conducted and results declared by JKBOSE. We also intend to start the lower classes in future from Nursery, LKG and UKG onwards We offer all those subjects for 9th and 10th, which are approved by JKBOSE. However, for 11th and 12th, the following subjects are offered:

• Arabic
• Islamic Studies
• Sociology
• Education
• Political Science

Infrastructure:

• Buildings: There is an L-shaped, three storey building comprising of 33 rooms and one multi-purpose hall.
• School Area: Comprising of 7 rooms, a Science Lab, an IT/Computer Lab and a large sized library.
• Hostel Area: Ground floor and first floor, comprising of 21 rooms each sizing 10 by 20.
• Sick Room: One large sized sick room for first aid and recovery from minor illness or injuries and a van for transportation of patients to hospitals.
• Student-Parent meeting area: There are nine cabins for one to one meeting of students with their parents.
• Safe Drinking Water: There is a facility for safe drinking water with two outlets from KENT RO (120 Lt and 80 Lt) and few tape water outlets.
• Wash Rooms & Toilets: Three toilets and washrooms for male staff, three each for female staff and 7 washrooms with 16 toilet points for students. 46 Tape water points also installed as a backup facility for Wadoo making and cloth washing.
